honestly i have no idea what i'm doing, but i'll update what i'm learning too: currently anatomy to make my proots look cool and not suffering from malnutrition.
newer doodles will be at the top, most of the time at least. -(june 17) honestly feeling pretty shitty today. so i drew this. still have a lot of things to learn, i know, just wanted to try and express how i feel a bit.
did some more visor studies, and drew these from imagination. i hope it was decent, at least. i think i did well. kinda had no idea what i was doing, or how i made it look 3d, but idk. i think it was nice. with some more practice, it'd be even better.
actually committed to the rotating stuff after learning the like, i guess the metal part of the visor can be like an ellipse turning in space, so i used that and drew this. it's by no means perfect, that much i'm aware, but it's a good start :) (man i gotta try drawing the body soon)
drew this a bit ago, still used reference. the reference said a protogen's eyes could be "floundering" (two eyes on the same side) so i tried it out in a goofy way :p
honestly a protogen's visor is just like a display screen to me so it makes sense that they can move their expression around, i guess x3
visors and stuff, studied some reference for it. it's still so weird to me. just what shape is the visor that i'm looking at...
trying out some other angles i guess, did too many flat side views, gotta get out of the zone more often... (honestly i'm not even sure if it looks like it's not directly facing to the side)
this is orange, i drew him alongside a tutorial someone made and then tried it myself, with some adjustments.
(i'll have to learn to draw the neck floof someday)
say hi to green! i used what i learned from reference (the ears) and applied it to him. i like how it turned out :D
(oh yeah the mouth too, i like the curve. although the normal protogen zigzag mouth isn't too bad either. decisions, decisions...)
